However, an increasing number of organizations are now inclined towards cloud ERP application development due to its apparent benefits over on-premise systems. An international survey conducted by HubSpot in 2018 revealed that 64 percent of companies were using SaaS applications while 21 percent used cloud ERP. Surprisingly, only 15 percent of the respondents were using on-premise ERP systems.
