When you start taking driving lessons, you want to clear your driving test on the first attempt. You want your hands on the driving license as soon as you can. But, in the hurry to clear the driving test, many people fail the test. Below are some of the common areas where one makes mistake. We suggest that you pay attention to these points so that you do not end up making the same mistake.

When you are stepping inside the car, the first thing that you need to do is adjust the rearview mirror and the side mirrors. You should do this before you switch on the ignition. Not doing so means that you are not attentive enough. And you have no regards for the traffic rules and signals. Even if you don’t make any mistake during the test, this simple overlooking on your part can cost you the license.

Next you need to make sure that whenever you are changing lanes or are about to take a turn, you should switch on the indicators. These lights give an indication of what you are going to do next. As a result, the vehicle behind you is aware of your next move and it becomes easier to avoid a collision.

Pay ...
... attention to the signals at all times. Often the signal changes from green to red at the last minute. If you don’t pay attention, you will break the rule. Violation of traffic rules is a serious offence.

You should have complete control over the steering wheel. You should know how to maneuver the wheel so that you can change lanes move ahead or simply stop the car. If you lose control over the steering wheel, you will definitely bang the car against another vehicle.

Road markings or signs are again vital elements when you are driving. The road markings will tell you when to slow down, when to take a U-turn or if the road ahead is blocked or not. The road signs are put up for your safety and benefit. Make sure that you check them whenever you are driving.

And finally, you should have a clear grip and understanding of car reversing and parking. There are many test instructors who will ask you to reverse and park the car. How skillfully you do it will reflect how well you have mastered the art of driving.

All these will be taught to you at the driving school Hills area. Pay attention if you want to clear the test the first time.
