They are specifically designed for more demanding applications because of their improved properties like mechanical strength and also show higher resistance to heat, impact, and chemicals.

Limitations associated with thermoplastics

It can therefore be concluded that advanced thermoplastics can now offer high melting points and improved stability which early-generation polymers could not provide.
