1.Dental Crowns
Dental crowns are used to cover damaged teeth and protect them from further damage. A dental crown is placed over the tooth after the decay has been removed and the remaining tooth structure has been strengthened. When a tooth is decayed, the enamel layer of the tooth begins to wear away. If left untreated, the enamel may completely erode away leaving only the dentin exposed. Once the enamel is gone, the root of the tooth becomes exposed and can begin to rot. In order to prevent this from happening, a dentist will place a dental crown over the affected area.
2. Tooth Extraction
Tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth due to severe decay, trauma, infection, or any other cause. After the tooth is extracted, the gum surrounding the tooth is often injured and bleeding occurs. To stop the bleeding, the dentist will apply pressure to the gums using a gauze pad or cotton ball. The dentist will then use a special tool called an extractor to remove the tooth.

These prosthetic devices are designed to look and feel just like real teeth. However, they are not meant to last forever. Over time, the dentures become loose and need to be repaired.
5. Dental Implants
Dental implants are artificial replacements for missing teeth. They consist of titanium posts that are surgically inserted into the jawbone where the roots of the tooth were once located. Titanium screws are then attached to the posts to hold replacement teeth in place.
