How many times have people told you to get your car serviced at regular intervals and go for car roof lining repair? While you need to get your car serviced in order to keep it in good shape, but there are some popular myths about car repair and maintenance. And surprisingly many of us are not aware. Today, we are going to address those myths and clear all the associated doubts with it.
 

You should change the car’s engine oil after completing 5000kms every single time - this is not true. Every car has different requirements. For example: in case of German car’s you need to replace the engine oil after every 15000kms. If you have a Japanese or Korean car, then you should get it done after you complete 10000kms. You need to act as per your car’s requirement. Don’t go for what everyone is saying. Know your car and its needs.

Engine decarbonizing every time the car is repaired and fixed - you should think of decarbonizing the engine at a later stage. Since the latest engines burn most of the fuel, there is no need for it at all.

 

Get your car winter ready - most of the latest cars are manufactured in a way so that the vehicle performs well throughout the year, irrespective of the climatic conditions. There is no need to go prepare your car for the winters unless your vehicle is quite old and is having start problems for quite long.

 

Opting for high octane petrol for your vehicle - many people think that using high octane petrol will give you more value for the fuel refilled. They think that it will give more mileage. Your car will run fine with regular petrol. High-octane petrol will not harm the vehicle but it will not improve the performance for sure.
