Installation of an electric heating system on your floor is a great way to add warmth and a cozy indoor environment in your house. Not only does it maintain an evenly distributed temperature in your room, but also it reduces your energy cost by providing you with a primary source of energy.

The main concept behind electric heating systems is thermal radiation, as it radiates upwards from the floor. When this radiant heat touches an object or your body, the potential energy converts into heat, and you feel the warmth.

There is almost zero flow of air circulation inside the room, thus keeping your indoor environment comfortable and warm.

The electric Hydronic Heat Pump systems are considered one of the most efficient heating systems for personal use. However, you need to install the system in a proper manner and for this reason, here are a few tips that can help you with better installation.

1. Measure the installation area:

Decide the room and the exact parts where you want to install the ...
... heating system. Next, you need to decide where you want to keep various objects, cabinets and other items like pipelines and electric wires.

Avoid areas where you can't lay down the electric heating wires, and cover other regions. Calculate the remaining region so as to get an approximate area where the wires need to be placed. Make sure that the wires should not run over objects that have a permanent location on the floor.

2. Use multiple probes

Sensor probes are used to measure the temperature in the room, and it should be installed at a level of the heating elements. In small rooms, a centrally located single probe can be sufficient.

In large rooms, multiple probes should be installed to get accurate temperature measurements. Make sure to connect the probes with separate cables, so they will be easy to replace when needed.

3. Insulation

Laying the electric heating lines is not enough to supply adequate heat in your room. To decrease heat loss and to improve the duration of heat, proper insulation is essential. You can choose to go with insulations that have noise reduction and waterproofing capabilities.

High-quality insulation for your Electric Hydronics system prevents the escape of heat downwards, thus making your floor heating much more efficient.

4. Warranty of products

Before choosing an electric heating system, output wires, thermostat or even the probes, you should carefully review the warranty and the terms and conditions of the products. Make sure that the system warranty fits your situation.

There may be different warranties for different products, and you should have proper knowledge about that. If you are selecting a product, check whether the manufacturer is providing a warranty on selected parts or on the whole system; also, check if their work and services are included in it or not.

These are some of the tips and suggestions that are sure to help you in making a better choice for your electric heating system. If you have any further inquiries or want to take our services, feel free to contact our official support team.
