Can Infections in Covids Be Stopped with Cannabis?

The decades of prohibition have made it clear that cannabis has medical benefits, which have been utilized by supporters for legalization.

Even still, fresh research is being done on a regular basis, and it's possible that doctors are only just beginning to scratch the surface of marijuana's medical potential.

It would appear, then, that there is a need for studies of this nature.

Setting Cannabis's SBA Wrong to Rights

Despite the state's move to make cannabis more lawful than it has ever been in the United States, access to money has severely impeded the industry.

Because of the drug's federal illegality, obtaining funding is extremely difficult, especially for start-ups.

U.S. Senator for Nevada (D) Jacky Rosen has a proposal to help fix some of these problems.

According to the Fair Access for Cannabis Small Businesses Act, which was filed by Sen. Rosen, legal cannabis businesses would be able to apply for loans and other SBA programs.

Owners will be able to apply for and receive disaster loans, microloans, and funding through the Small Business Investment Company program, as well as the widely used SBA 7(a) loans that are available to other small businesses.

State-licensed cannabis operations have suffered due to "unfair impediments to essential federal support and resources," according to Senator Rosen.

Small cannabis businesses will benefit from this law since they will be eligible for the same government funding and loans as any other legal business.

The CEO of the U.S. Cannabis Council, Khadijah Tribble, believes that a diversified pool of stakeholders in the cannabis sector can be ensured by combining Rosen's proposal with the much-discussed SAFE Banking Act.

Senator Rosen's "landmark legislation" will "help advance equity and creativity in the cannabis business" by creating a level playing field for independent cannabis operators, Tribble argued.
