Chai Ghai Wonderful Tea
The Downtown Eastside Women's Centre and Chai Ghai have been fortunate enough to collaborate, and they will do so in the years to come. In March, in observance of Women's History Month, $2 from each Chai Ghai purchase was donated to the DEWC to help them provide basic needs for the numerous women they assist on a daily basis. Donations of money, clothing, or different kinds of toiletries can be made online or left at one of their three downtown locations. The downtown eastside's vulnerable women greatly appreciate all donations, which go a long way. Since 1978, the Downtown Eastside Welfare Center (DEWC) has operated there, providing a much-needed haven of safety and support for the neighbourhood. Every day, they provide over 700 women, including children and the elderly, with a place to stay, hot meals, communication, and other necessities. We appreciate and respect what they do to provide women with a secure environment, better educational opportunities, and mentorship, which will make their lives easier. Salutations to everyone who supported DEWC this month; we are grateful for your support.
We were happy to collaborate ...
... with Sarah Wickett of Waddup Canada to give our devoted Chai Ghai family and their followers the chance to win one of two $250 gift cards to Fairmont hotels and resorts. Despite having a huge number of participants, we could only name two winners. Sarah Ferguson and Kathryn Pylyp were the winners. Congratulations to you both, and many thanks to everyone who took part. As the year progresses, stay tuned for more entertaining competitions.
In Indian culture, Holi, the festival of colours, is celebrated in March. This year, we were happy to provide a fantastic sale in addition to a wealth of details about the festival's objectives. In order to educate our followers about the culture that served as the inspiration for our company, Chai Ghai wants to bring intact Indian culture to Canada. We'll be having a Vaisakhi sale in April and going into more detail about what Vaisakhi is. There are plenty of occasions to celebrate, and we are delighted to keep including you in them as they come. Every year, the biggest Vaisakhi celebration in the world takes place in Surrey, British Columbia, and this year we're excited to take part.
We want to wish everyone in our Chai Ghai family renewal and growth this spring, as the universe undergoes a renewal process at this time of year. With its capacity to both heal and inspire, we hope that chai will add colour to your spirit and ignite your aura. With a warm cup of chai in our hands, we enter April ready to revive amidst the splendour of our planet. Namaste.
