Middleeast valve is well known company of Check valve Supplier in UAE.
A check valve is a circulating device which is commonly used in pipeline systems to permit a fluid to flow in just one direction and avoid backwash or backflow. They can be applied to a wide range of fluids, including liquids, gases, condensate, and slurries.
It has two slots, one for input and other for output. A check valve is formed by a shutter, a spring and a gasket.

It is also called 'One-way valve', 'Clack valve' or 'Non-return valve' since it only allows media to flow in one direction. Fluids enter the valve at the inlet under pressure, where they push the disc away from the valve's seat and out the outlet.
As long as the pressure is kept high enough to keep the disc open, the flow is constant. The disc automatically returns to its seat to stop the flow if there is a pressure drop.

Industries where Check Valves used are :

• Chemical processing
• Power generation
• Hydropower
• Petrochemical
• Oil and gas
• Gas plants
• LNG
• Liquid gases
...
... • Refineries
• Petrochemical
• Chemical and many more industries …

Types of Check Valves-

• Swing Check Valve
• Wafer Check Valve
• Ball Check Valve
• Lift Check Valve
• Dual Plate Check Valve
• Silent Check Valve
• Non-slam Swing Check Valve
• Tilting disc Check Valve
• Pressure seal Check Valve

How does a Check valve Work ?
The operation of a check valve depends on pressure variation. When the output pressure increases, the check valve will close off, requiring high pressure on the input rather than the output. There are several closing mechanisms for different types of check valves. They typically serve to prevent backflow To ensure that waste water leaves the system and does not return, check valves, for instance, are installed in sewer pipes. They come in a range of sizes, varieties, and styles depending on the needs.

Advantages of Check Valves-

• Self-actuated
• Fast-acting
• It maintains the pressure
• Prevent water hammer.
• Maintenance costs are decreased.
• Capable of adapting to varying flow conditions
Difference between swing and wafer check valve

Wafer check valve
The wafer-thin construction of wafer check valves gives them their name. These slim valves are designed to fit between two flanges in confined places. This valve doesn't have any controls. The valve's central swinging disc, which opens in one direction and closes if liquids flow back in the other direction, is its essential part.

Swing check valve
Swing check valves, as the name implies, also uses a swinging disc to allow or block flow. The two differ in the way their bodies are made. In contrast to the wafer check valve, swing check valves are not intended for extremely small places. Around the spot where the disc opens up, their bodies have been formed.

Gate Valve supplier Oman

Middleeast valve is one of the great company of Gate valve supplier in Oman. Middle east deliver different types of valves to different countries like Saudi arbia , Oman . Gate are used to stop the flow of fluid, a gate valve has a flat closure element that slides into the flow stream. They are one of the most common types of valves, and their primary function is to allow or prevent the flow of liquids.
A gate valve is a rectangular or circular wedge that is part of a linear motion valve. To open or close a metal gate, it can be raised or lowered. When lifted, the gate opens and allows flow; when dropped, it closes and blocks the channel. Gate valves are primarily intended for on-off operations. They work best in systems where the valve is only used infrequently. They are designed for full-area flow to reduce pressure drop and allow a pipe-cleaning pig to pass through. Because the majority of the flow change happens near the shutoff, the relatively high fluid velocity causes disc and seat wear, as well as eventual leakage if the valve is used to regulate flow.

Parts Of Gate Valves
• Body
• Seat & Disc
• Stem
• Bonnet
• Wedge

Advantages of Gate Valves
1. They have excellent shutoff characteristics.
2. They are also bidirectional.
3. There is very little pressure loss through the valve.
Types of Gate Valve –
• Rising Stem Gate Valve
The gate is the opening and closing portion of the rising stem gate valve, and its movement direction is perpendicular to the fluid direction. The rising stem gate valve can only be opened and closed completely; it cannot be adjusted or throttled.

• Non-Rising Stem Gate Valve
The non-rising is designed so that the stem of the gate valve is fully open when the handle is rotated as far to the left as possible and fully closed when the handle is rotated as far to the right as possible. It's also known as a Blind Stem Wedge Gate Valve or a Rotating Stem Gate Valve.

• Bellow Seal Gate Valve
Forged Steel Gate Valves are constructed with a bolted bonnet, an outside screw and yoke, a rising spindle, and a non-rising hand wheel

• Pressure Seal Gate Valve
Pressure seal gate valves are used for high pressure service, typically for pressures above 100 bar. Since the body-bonnet joints seal better when internal valve pressure rises, the pressure seal bonnet has a special quality.

• Cryogenic Gate Valve
Cryogenic gate valves are used primarily in gas liquefaction systems and are designed to function successfully at temperatures below -40oC under particular service circumstances.

• Forged Gate Valve
Forged Steel Gate Valves are constructed with a bolted bonnet, an outside screw and yoke, a rising spindle, and a non-rising hand wheel

Industries
• Chemical
• Power Generation
• Oil and Gas
• Paper Industry
