It is not possible for every driver to be aware of all the traffic rules and regulations. Most of us are aware of the common rules that we encounter while driving. However, there are some specific ones about which you need to keep yourself updated. This will help you in the long run. What are those traffic rules? Today, we are going to discuss about them.

When driving you need to maintain a safe distance. You must have heard your driving instructor at the Auburn driving school tell you this multiple number of times? What happens if you don’t maintain the distance? When you need to pay $200 and two points will be deducted just because you failed to maintain a decent gap. You don’t want to be involved in tailgating.

When at the roundabout give the vehicles in front of you to take the turn. Don’t overtake them to cross the roundabout. It can cost you three points and $150. At the same time, make sure that if there are bikes in front of you, give them proper opportunity to cross the roundabout. ...
... It does not matter whether the car or the bike in front of you is on the left side, and your vehicle on the right side. Since they are ahead of your vehicle, they will go first.

If you encounter a situation where an emergency vehicle is right behind you and you need to move your car so that they can go, you cannot do this if you are stuck in a traffic signal. You cannot break the red light. At the most, you can put on the indicator and move your car to the left as much as possible, but don’t break the red signal.

Just because the green light has turned to yellow light that does not mean that you can move ahead with your car. The yellow light means that you need to slow down because the signal is going to turn red. Make sure that you follow this rule.

Take time to upgrade yourself about the existing traffic rules. When you are on the road always keep in mind the instructions shared by your instructor at the Auburn driving school. Being aware of the rules and paying attention to them is a sign of good driving. In today’s context, responsible driving is very much required. This is the least that you can do.
