The Statue of Unity is located in Gujarat, India and depicts Vallabhbhai Patel (1875 to 1950). Vallabhbhai Patel was an Indian independence activist and statesman who became the first home minister and deputy prime minister of Independent India.
You can find this Statue in the Kevadiya colony on the Narmada river. The Statue faces the dam named Sardar Sarovar, which is situated 100 kilometers in the southeast direction of the city of Vadodara. Ram V. Sutar is the designer of this Statue, which took approximately 5 years to be made.

The Statue is approximately 182 meters tall and located near Kevadiya town of Gujarat. The nearby cities are Rajpipla which is almost 25 kilometers away; Vadodara has situated 90 kilometers away; Surat is 150 kilometers away, and Ahmedabad is 200 kilometers away from the Statue of Unity.
To reach the Statue of unity, it's a great option to first reach Kevadiya by bus or car, depending on your facility. Then, you can take local transportation like auto or continue by car to reach the Statue.
