Best Gift Ideas Of The Year

I love New Year's resolutions! In fact, I very rarely keep them - but they always make me feel like I'm aiming for something. This year I've made a couple of great ones, to be followed over the whole year, and I'm hoping I'll be able to stick with them.
The first one is to buy better gifts.
Every year, as my friends' birthdays approach, I struggle for ideas about what to buy them as a gift. Sometimes I will spend a whole day looking, until I find something that I think is really fun and original - but most of the time I end up giving them something that, although it's a cool present, isn't the best I could do.
With that in mind, I have decided to make 2010 my year of giving cool gifts. I'm going to plan ahead, and take a good look at the best gifts the year has to offer, so that when my friends' birthdays come around I won't get stuck for ideas. Below are the best I've seen so far.
My second resolution, which sort of ties in with all this, is to be more intelligent about my spending habits. I have recently started reading How to get rich books, and the most sensible piece of advice I have found so far ...
... is to always look for a better deal!
With my resolutions in mind, all of the products below have been chosen for two main reasons. Firstly, I think they're cool, fun, or functional. Secondly, I know that when the time comes I will be able to get a discount on all of them, because there are gifts and gadgets voucher codes available for them all over the internet.
Here's the list:
Messages Written in Chocolate - I like the creativity you can add to this gift, and I can't wait to write some funny messages for my friends.
A Stylophone - I love these things. They were big in the 70s, and have experienced a bit of a revival in recent years. You can use them to play tunes that sound like something from an old Atari game. In fact, I have almost mastered the Simpsons theme tune on mine.
Jewellery - This is a little more expensive, but will make an amazing present for someone special. A lot of websites offering gifts and gadgets voucher codes so at least it won't be as expensive as it usually is!
Hampers from Supermarkets - I have recently started giving people hampers of nice foods bought from supermarkets. For a relatively low price, you can actually get a fair amount of food! Also, if you order the food and the basket online you can usually use voucher codes to bring the price down.
...and that's my list so far! It should keep me going when I get stuck for cool ideas.
