LIPMEN was originally founded in the United States in 1985 and was established as a Korean corporation in 1990. Lipmen's patented technology in oxygen absorbers and gas absorbers has been widely recognized for its quality and productivity improvement. They will continue to focus on technology development and research to achieve the best customer satisfaction.

Lipmen Microbial Growth Inhibitor

Oxygen absorbers inhibit only aerobic bacteria in the product to prolong its self-life, but microbial growth inhibitors inhibit anaerobic bacteria as well, which reproduce even without oxygen.

Aerobic Bacteria: Bacteria that can only live where oxygen is present. It is oxygen-dependent bacteria that live while using oxygen as the ultimate electron acceptor. It is a breathing bacteria that oxidizes and breaks down nutrients using the free oxygen in the air.

Classification of Aerobic Bacteria

 Obligatory Aerobic Bacteria: can grow and reproduce only with oxygen (Acetobacter, Bacillus Subtilis, Azotobacter, etc.)
 Micro-Aerobic Bacteria: cannot t live in normal ...
... oxygen concentration (20.9’%), but can only grow in oxygen concentration range of 2~10%
 Facultative Anaerobic Bacteria: can grow and reproduce with or without oxygen (Staphylococcus, Colon Bacillus, Typhoid Bacillus, etc.).

Anaerobic Bacteria: Oxygen-independent bacteria that do not require oxygen.

Classification of Anaerobic Bacteria

 Facultative Anaerobic Bacteria: Bacteria that can reproduce with or without oxygen
 Anaerobic Bacteria with Oxygen Tolerance: Bacteria that can live with oxygen but does not use it
 Obligatory Anaerobic Bacteria: Bacteria that can only live in an oxygen-free environment.

Types of Microbial Growth Inhibitors

BCS-TYPE: Oxygen Absorption + Bacterial Inhibition
 Absorbs oxygen and inhibits the growth of anaerobic bacteria
 Must be used within 30 minutes of exposure to air
 Has outstanding bacterial inhibition ability and reduces odor generation compared with the use of mustard.
 Custom-made product
 Most effective in bacterial inhibition
 Use: Fish cake, meat products, easily spoiled products

Alcohol Volatilizer – TYPE: Bacterial Inhibition
 X-RAY / Metal detector use is available.
 Can control concentration according to water activity
 Aerobic / Anaerobic bacterial inhibition
 Powder/Gel Type
 Use: Cake slices, bead, etc.
