What are the Types of Suspended Construction Cradles You Can See Being Used Today?

In the construction industry, workers often need to operate at a great height above the ground. For this purpose, various makeshift structures and arrangements are made available. For example, ladders are a type of platform that consists of rungs supported by vertical posts. Ladders are used to get to higher places. Stairways are a type of platform used in construction projects. A stairway consists of a series of steps attached to a wall or beam. Workers climb the stairs to reach their destination.

However, in order to provide workers with access to greater heights, many temporary cradles are used. These are of various types, such as:

1. Suspended Construction Platform

A suspended construction platform is a type of scaffolding system that uses a series of cables and pulleys to suspend workers above a building site. SCP systems are often used in high-rise buildings where access to the upper floors is difficult.

These can be made out of wood, metals like steel, aluminum etc by suspended platform manufacturers ...
... companies. No matter what kind of material is used in construction, you can expect these types of platforms to be strong enough to sustain the weight of workers and their tools high up above the ground.

2. Scaffold Tower

Scaffold towers are similar to suspension platforms except they use a single cable instead of several.

3. Cableway

Cableways are a type of scaffolding that uses a series of parallel cables to support workers above a building site or structure. Cableways are often used in tall buildings, bridges, tunnels, and other structures where access to the upper levels is difficult.

4. Aerial Work Platform

An aerial work platform is a type of platform used for construction projects. An aerial work platform consists of a steel frame supporting a platform at a height of between 10 and 50 meters. Workers can stand comfortably for many hours on this type of building cradle platform while working on a construction project.

5. Hoist

Hoists are a type of crane that lifts heavy objects. Hoists are used to lift materials and equipment to different heights. In some cases, these can be used to lift personnel too.
