Failing your driving test can be a big blow to your confidence, especially when you have practiced for hours. Before you prepare yourself again for the driving test, you need to know what are the common mistakes that one makes during the test. Make sure that you follow the traffic signals at all times. If the signal changes from green to yellow, you need to slow down and wait for the signal to turn red and then green before you drive away. Just because the light is yellow does not mean that you will increase the speed and move through the traffic signal. You should speeding at all times.

You should always adjust your rearview mirror and the side mirrors so that you can keep track of which car is behind you and which one is trying to overtake you. It is important to maneuver the car accordingly.

When you are at a junction, you need to be very careful. Which lane can you take? And which lane is meant for the vehicles in the opposite direction? Don’t get confused between the two otherwise you will ram into the vehicle coming from the opposite direction.

Another area where more learners make mistake is when they need to reverse the car. When you are doing it, you have to make sure that you have maintained a proper distance between the other cars and have reversed using the taillights and so on.
