A sagging car roof lining does not look good. You need to get it fixed. However, the car roof lining repair is an expensive one. And if just a small portion of the car roofline is sagging, it is better to opt for DIY solutions. Today, we are going to discuss some quick fix tips that you can easily try out.

Why don’t you use a specialist-headlining adhesive to glue back the roof lining of the car? They are available in spray cans. Buy one and spray it over for an even distribution and then press the car roof lining. Within few minutes it will stick and no one will know that it was sagging in the first place.

One classic way to fix the issue is to use pins to pin back the lining. It hardly takes much time and the matter will be resolved.

Using staples and hair spray may seem a bit odd, but this method is quite effective. Use a stapler gun to staple the lining (the normal stapler won’t work in this scenario) and then spray the hair spray. After few ...
... minutes remove the stapler and voila the lining is back in position.

Do you have a steam cleaner at home? If yes, then use it to melt the glue in the car roof lining. Once the glue has melted, use a new paint roller to press the car roof lining. Don’t put too much pressure. The lining will stick to the car perfectly.

Double-sided tapes are quite effective in this scenario. Just stick the tape and push the lining over it.

However, if a major part of the car roof lining is damaged, it is best to avoid these DIY tips. They are quick fixes that last temporarily. It is not a permanent solution. For better results, you should always get in touch with experts who offer quality car roof lining repair. Get in touch with your car mechanic to find out if they offer this service. Take your car at the earliest and ask them to do the needful. Car maintenance and repair is important in order to ensure a good performance of your car. And the maintenance is not limited to the exterior of the car. You should opt for car interior maintenance as well. And the car roof lining repair is an integral part of this maintenance process.
