WHAT IS FORMAL EDUCATION

Formal education is when something taught in a directed way with a proper curriculum set and following those already arranged in a regular pattern is called formal education. It is a type of education system in which education is provided based on a curriculum set by the board of institutions. Which comprises a structured syllabus and theory-based learning. It is formal learning, taught inside the premises of the school, including schooling from elementary school to secondary and college. Taught by the trained faculty specialized in their particular fields.

This education pattern includes classrooms, grades, certificates, exams, and teaching types of equipment. Etc. In this type of learning, books are provided with regular examinations to evaluate the knowledge and understanding of the child by following the syllabus.

Everything is scheduled from the exam time, classes, or syllabus. This education way helps develop discipline in the children as they have to follow the rules from how to be on the premises to their learning lessons. Students develop socializing skills as they daily interact with their schoolmates, and teachers motivate them to improve their communication skills.

In this type of education, the syllabus is according to the general preference, which is a disadvantage for students who need specific guidance. School-going students are in their learning period, they are easy to indulge in any shape, making them highly vulnerable to come under the influence of people around them. As school premises have number of people, it increases chances for students to get under bad influence.

Students learn this education from the surroundings they live in from their parents. These learnings are essential to living life fulfilling. This learning promotes collaborative learning and focuses on the social aspect of learning which is removing the gap between school and life.

It teaches students to be confident enough to face any situation. Remove the gap between theory and practical. This type of learning focuses on the aspect of responsibility and value learning skills, which help make a better person with a better environment. Informal education is something very crucial for students to develop.

WHAT IS NON-FORMAL EDUCATION

Non-formal education is a type of education that help individual learns specific skills they are interested in learning. These skills are taught according to the preference of the job.

It is a short-term learning process. Which helps learn a person-specific set of skills. It is a learning process that includes learning systematically and persistently provided to teach skills to adults.
