Because the journey is long, you need to book a hotel in Gilgit, so you can rest and start your hike up to Fairy Meadows. You can take a bus to Meadows or hire a Taxi; it's totally up to you. Once you land at Fairy meadows, the hassle of the journey will disappear from your mind, and all you will see is the most scenic place of your life.
