The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) in the United States awards the Certified Management Accountant (CMA), also known as the CMA USA course in India, as the highest level of management accounting certification.

The IMA offers the US CMA course or certification, which is a global association of accountants and financial specialists in business. It was created in the year of 1919 and has more than 90,000 members across the world with a global reach in over 140 countries through 300 professional and student chapters.

CMA USA Eligibility
Exam Eligibility: You are eligible to appear for the exam immediately after successfully passing the Class 12 exam. This is the most important part of the CMA Journey since after passing the exam, you can apply for jobs even if your certification has been pending.

IMA Membership Eligibility: After passing the CMA Exam, you can apply for IMA certification and membership. Remember, you have 7 years’ from the date of passing the exam to apply for IMA certification and membership.
To apply for IMA certification and membership, you must have a bachelor’s degree or comparable professional certification from an approved college or university have acquired 2 years of relevant work experience.

To be eligible for CMA, you must meet the following requirements:

CMA USA exam dates 2022
The CMA exam test has been totally revamped and is now administered at Prometric Centers around the world. It’s essential that you schedule your assessments for one of the available testing windows that best meets your needs. You are also advised to book your testing slot ahead of time to ensure that you get your desired testing window (dates and time schedule) for testing.

Exam Pattern for the CMA USA
The CMA test has two parts, and you don’t have to take them in any specific sequence. This means that, depending on your preferences, you can register for any of the two parts first. The CMA test comprises of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) and two essay type questions in each part.
The MCQs account for 75% of your overall score on the CMA exam, while essay questions account for 25%. The exam can be scheduled on any day of your choice during the three exam windows namely, Jan – Feb, May-June, Sep – Oct.
