Annamalai University accepts applications from all eligible candidates, whereas admission is done strictly on the basis of merit. The basic eligibility criteria for applying to any of the UG courses offered by the university is clearing 10+2 with a minimal aggregate of 50% marks.

Once selected for admission, candidates are required to appear for a counseling session held by the university. The applicant is needed to produce his/her original educational documents during the time of counseling.

Admission to all PG courses offered by Annamalai University is strictly on the base of merit. The basic eligibility criteria for applying to any of the PG courses offered by the university is graduate in the relevant field with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
