You will need to get their permission before purchasing the property since they are in the best position to determine whether your plans comply with building regulations and other laws.

If you have purchased a property, there are several things that you need to do after acquisition. You will need to consult with the council on issues like building regulations and other laws that govern your use of space. You will also have to make sure that any new additions or alterations do not violate any existing rules or regulations.
