The Qualifying Examination is focused on implementing and managing the Cisco Enterprise Network Core Technologies. This is the qualifying exam for CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure certification. (ENCOR 300-401). This certification recognizes your knowledge and skills by granting you a Specialist Certification.

The Lab Examination

This 8-hour-long CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure Lab Examination validates your skills in the entire lifecycle of complex enterprise network systems - designing, deploying and operating them. It is split into two modules, Automation and Network Programmability.

If you pass the CCIE Routing & Switching v5.0 Written Examination before February 24, 2020, then you are eligible to take the laboratory examination for new CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure v1.0 Certificate.
If you have passed the CCIE Routing & Switching v5.0 Written Examination, you may appear for its laboratory examination before February 24, 2020. Passing will earn you CCIE Routing & Switching Certification.

As per the new Certification and Recertification guidelines, this certification is converted to CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure v1.0 Certification. The validity of the certification is 2 years. You must pass the CCIE written exam to extend the validity of your certification to three years.

You must pass the ENCOR 300-401 written exam to earn CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure v1.0 certification. After clearing, you will be awarded Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Core certification.
