If we conduct a research on which country has grown the most in terms of renewable energy, particularly the solar energy, we’ll get to see two or three countries only which have worked really hard to ensure that they don’t rely on fossil fuels anymore in order to avoid the environment from getting harmed and to avoid increased prices of fuel and energy. How did the German Solar Industry Grow?

In comparison to Japan, Germany’s multilateral approach helped the country grow. Apart from offering rebates and interest-free loans, people get feed-in tariffs also and it is mandatory for everyone to install the system at home. This has ultimately caused a reduction of 52M tonnes of Carbon Dioxide. Also, they lower the tariffs each year to encourage people to buy these systems. That’s one of the reasons why Germany is third on the list of countries having maximum PV capacity.

If we compare Australia with the two world giants mentioned above, we’ll get an idea of how the country took their ideas and started to implement them. But still, it has managed to convince two million homes only to install these systems. The feed-in tariffs are offered by the government along with subsidies. The return on investment is also good, but people need to be educated more in this regard so that they may get an idea of why fossil fuels are harmful and how their end will lead us to darkness. In that way only, we can make the country’s environment clean and emission-free without having to spend much.
