Student Visa

An applicant applying for a student visa must have a university sponsorship or a relative who is residing in Dubai. After the arrival in UAE, the applicant has to go through several health checks to confirm an acceptable health condition. Any applicant who tests positive for any severe illness such as HIV, hepatitis B, or C, tuberculosis, or leprosy shall be exiled or disqualified.

Documents required for student visa include :

Valid passport

Passport-sized photograph

Admission letter from the UAE university

Proof of accommodation in Dubai

Tuition fee receipt

Visa fee receipt

Proof of financial sufficiency

Academic documents

The student visa is valid for one year and the applicant can renew accordingly.

Investor Visa

An investor visa is issued to venture capitalists who have invested in their own business or an established company in Dubai. Other than an easy acquisition of a visa, they enjoy several other benefits such as exemption from income tax, corporate tax, etc. The investor visa is valid for three years. The applicant can later renew it as per the need.

Property Owner Visa

No-Objection Certificate from the developer

Certificate of good conduct from Dubai officials

The Dubai authorities have eased the process of obtaining a visa for moving to Dubai. The applicant can now submit most of the documents online.

On the other hand, citizens of GCC countries have the authority to immigrate to Dubai for employment without a visa.

Dubai Citizenship

Often, the immigrants in Dubai are not granted citizenship of the UAE.

Kids born in the UAE get citizenship by birth, while those born to UAE citizens outside the country can apply for the same after the age of 18.

Married women can get UAE citizenship if the marriage lasts at least 3 years.

A foreigner who has acquired UAE citizenship does not have the right to stand for elections.

Dual citizenship is not valid in Dubai.
