FAMI-QS is a creator in its field as it is the only certifiable code specifically intended at specialty feed ingredients and their mixtures. It was also the first Community Guide to Good Practice to gain official recognition from the European Commission as foreseen in the Feed Hygiene Regulation. FAMI-QS Certificate is issued by certifying body, which is accredited to deliver certificate under the FAMI-QS. Experienced FAMI-QS Consultant delivers systems implementation and certification services as per FAMI-QS standards that minimize the overall process. Certificate is issued for the period of three years after successful accomplishment of pre-assessment and registration (final) assessment. Surveillance audits are conducted by the certifying body within the period of three years at the interval of nine months or twelve months dependent upon the nature and size of the organization. Upon accomplishment of three years, renewal audit is done for new three- year cycle.
