Iba Announces Awards And Recognizes Contribution Of The Key Players

In a recent ceremony, the Indian Biogas Association (IBA) announced the winners of its most presitgious yearly awards. These awards play an important role in promoting the biogas industry by recognizing companies that showcase exemplary work in the Indian Biogas Arena. Considering all the developments of the year, Atmos Power Private Limited was awarded the Operational Excellence award for showcasing exceptional performance during the Covid-19 Pandemic and for supporting the country by manufacturing & commissioning more than 150 PSA oxygen Plants for hospitals in a record time of 5 months.

The jury comprised some of the big names in the industry including-

- Prof. Pradeep Srivastava, ED, TIFAC
- Prof. Amit Garg, IIM Ahmedabad
- Prof. Jadran Vrabec, TU-Berlin
- Dr. Claudius da Costa, Gomez, (MD) German Biogas Association
- Mr. Deepak Gadhia, Trustee, Muni Seva Ashram

... the massive potential of the biogas industry and how it can save the Indian government more than 1 lakh crore every year. With so much potential and the availability of resources in the country, the future of the Indian biogas industry looks bright; however, the right kind of support will be needed to make the sector utilize its full potential.

Mr. Gaurav Kedia, Honorable Chairman of the Indian Biogas Association was also present on the occasion. He lauded the biogas movement in the country and said that recognizing the contribution and efforts of such key players will help inculcate a competitive spirit.

Biogas companies in India call the announcement of these awards quite encouraging as it would inspire the other companies offering biogas upgradation plants to perform well.
