When we mention Kurta, the first thing that comes to mind is pajamas! This is the most popular and appropriate outfit for wearing with Kurtas and other traditional Indian attire like south Indian white lungi.

Pajamas quickly became a staple piece of clothing, particularly for daily wear. When it comes to traditional Indian bottom wear, pajamas are widely regarded as the most obvious and appropriate option. They are worn not only at traditional ceremonies, festivals, and weddings, but also as everyday clothing. They are extremely stylish and fashionable, and they are a lifesaver when it comes to traditional days or functions that necessitate traditional attire.

Pajamas are available in a variety of styles and colors that can be paired with various types of cultural attire.

Continue reading to learn more about these Pajama looks and get ready to up your fashion game.

Pajama Colours –

Pajamas will never disappoint you with a lack of color options! They are available in a variety of colors. Pajamas cover everything from simple white ...
... and black to red, orange, blue, and possibly all known colors.

Combine these pajamas with appropriate outerwear. Rather than sticking to the same color every time, experiment with different color variations and combinations. If done correctly, your pajama look can be the talk of the town. Because pajamas can be worn with shirts and other daily wear, you have a better chance to try them all out in your favourite colors, as long as they complement each other (or it will have you looking like a runaway clown.)

Pajama Material –

Okay, to be honest, pajamas provide more comfort than other types of daily wear. You can simply pair it with a kurta over cotton vest or other traditional attire. Made primarily of cotton and a light, breathable material that allows you to move freely. They can also be paired with daily wear such as shirts and t-shirts. Pajamas are the best option if all you need is comfort and don't require many designs or heavy embroidery.

Pajama Designs –

Kurta pajama designs are typically subtle and ethnic. Decorative trims, borders, and embellishments are typically created along the edges of the pajamas and kurtas, as well as along the neckline, using some regional work such as resham, zari, zardosi, and patch border work, to name a few.

With What to Wear a Pajama –

Yes, we know you probably thought Kurta when you read this, but let us tell you that sherwani, Jodhpuri suits, and bandhgala jackets are also options. Wearing pajamas with these is one of the oldest and most popular styles I use. But, as the saying goes, "Old is Gold," and this style will never go out of style! Every cultural event you attend will have at least one guy dressed in pyjamas. People wear these with western outfits as Indo-western fashion grows in popularity. The trend in town is to wear colorful pajamas with complementary upper wear.

Footwear to Wear with Pajama –

The key is to keep it simple! Maintain the same level of simplicity in your footwear as you do in your pajamas. With this outfit, a simple chappal or sandals should suffice. You can change depending on the situation. If you are attending a formal event such as a wedding or an office event, you should wear more formal footwear such as Kolhapuris, loafers, moccasins, padukas, and so on to achieve an ethnic look.

The versatility and traditional design of the kurta pajama for men are its main draws. Comfort and style are included. Many people only wear it to traditional events and ceremonies, but the younger generation prefers to wear it on a daily basis. Pajamas allow you to achieve the traditional and ethnic look you desire with minimal effort.

All you need to do is add a few pyjamas to your wardrobe to stay stylish and rock the next event you attend.
