When women reach near to the stage of menopause then they suffer from one of the familiar complaints of night sweats and hot flashes. At this stage a women undergoes a vital change in their physical body. It is a stage which is related with the end of woman's capability to reproduce. Yet the exact cause of the hot flashes is unknown but there are triggers which increase the feeling of these symptoms. In this problem there is a brief sensation of feeling extreme heat which results into embarrassing pools of sweat to trickle down. Some of the factors which trigger this condition are smoking, warm surroundings, alcohol or it may be related with diet. 1. If you include a good quantity of soy foods in your diet then there may be less chances of having hot flashes.

2. Woman suffering from the problem of hot flashes must take some vitamin E, twice a day. It reduces the frequency of occurrence of hot flashes and its severity. But if vitamin E is taken in large dose then there may be some side effects.

3. Woman who smokes must give up their habit in order to reduce the symptom of hot flashes.

4. Some herbal medicines are also very effective in treating the problem of hot flashes. They are available in the form of tablet.

5. Meditation, doing yoga or deep breathing is also very effective in reducing the problem as well as frequency of hot flashes.
