Fixing “...pst Can Not Be Accessed - 0x80040116†Error In Microsoft Outlook
Are you encountering an error while trying to open a .pst file? Such a situation occurs when your .pst file is corrupt. B)Run the Inbox Repair Tool (scanpst.exe)
1.Click Start and go to Search, click All Files and Folders
2.In the All or part of the file name box, type scanpst.exe and enter
3.Double-click the scanpst.exe and click Browse and then open the folder which contains the new .pst file created with the truncation utility
4.Click and Open the new .pst file
5.In the Inbox Repair Tool box, click Start
6.After the scanning, click Repair to reapir the errors
7.After the completion of process, re-start the computer
8.Open the repaired file in Outlook 2000
