... as a trainee in BMW, the world-famous automobile company in Munich, Germany. Then he joined TRW Koyo Steering Systems Company in Tennessee, USA, as a summer trainee to gain further insight in industrial functions in 1991.

He joined his father’s Sona Group as a HR of Sona Koyo Steering Ltd, where he became the Vice Chairman and MD of this business in 2008. He launched Sona e-Design for the data migration of 2D designs to the 3D form. Later, he became the managing director of Sona Sonic Lemforder Company in 2003. He also took the Indian franchise of an international car rental company called Sixt in 2005, under the name of Sona Mobility Services. He worked as both CEO and MD of this company, expanding it to different cities in India.

He introduced the warm forging technique that became popular among the Indian manufacturers of equipments. He also became the Chairman of the supervisory board of Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd in 2009. He was unanimously elected the chairman of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization for the term of 2007 – 2008, which is a global non-profit organization for young entrepreneurs. Recently, he became the president of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association in India in 2021.
