1888 Press Release - TikTok Creator and Influencer Beverly Mahone, known as "Auntie Bev", will share her unique power words of encouragement to attendees at this year's Virtual Summit.

Beverly Mahone, also known as “Auntie Bev” to her nearly 600k TikTok fans, will be the opening speaker at this year’s Science and Mathematics Education Summit at Jackson State University (JSU).

Ms. Mahone was invited to speak as a result of her strong video presence on TikTok. The veteran journalist says it’s an honor to be a part of such a worthwhile event. ”I’ve always been a champion for education and I’m delighted to offer some Auntie Bev POWER WORDS of inspiration to the educators and administrators. I know how important it is speak words of encouragement into the lives of others, especially teachers, who give so much more than they receive sometimes."

The Virtual STEM Summit at JSU is open to all educators and administrators from kindergarten to the college level, as well as teacher education majors and STEM majors.
The Summit will be held on Saturday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
