Khatam is the art of decorating the surface of objects with small triangles, the various designs of which have always been in the form of regular geometric shapes. These geometric shapes are engraved by placing small triangles next to each other. It can be said that Khatam's work is geometric drawings consisting of equilateral triangles that are made of ivory, bone, wood and brass wire and are usually glued to a thickness of two millimeters on the surface of objects.

Carving is one of the handicrafts and crafts of wood, which depicts embossed patterns and is obtained by carving on wood.
