It is fair to say that green hydrogen is gaining popularity across all industries. Green hydrogen, in particular, has taken over industries such as oil, gas, steel, fertilizers, and others. It is considered as one of the levers that will accelerate the transition towards a carbon-neutral future.

Green hydrogen is created via an electrolysis technique that separates water into hydrogen and oxygen. Furthermore, the procedure is powered by electricity generated from renewable sources.

Airox Nigen to set up Gujarat's First green Hydrogen Refueling Station !
Airox Nigen Equipments Pvt. Ltd. is based in Gujarat, India. Mr. Anil K Agrawal, who has nearly 30 years of expertise in the area, and Ms.Surbhi A Agrawal, who has 20 years of administrative experience, founded it in 1994.

They have set up this company with a focus to contribute to the deployment of clean energy by making hydrogen applications available all across the globe.

Airox Nigen is looking forward to developing more sustainable forms of mobility besides aiming to become the leading producer of renewal hydrogen on a large scale. They have ...
... established Gujarat's first green hydrogen refueling station that would promote public health and would not affect the quality of the air.

Moreover, it is proven to be three times better than diesel and also quite affordable. Now Airox Nigen is looking forward to setting up a 1 MW green hydrogen demo unit in Ahmedabad and helping IndianOil to set up a 150 TPD Biogas plant in Jaipur.

Which vehicles are expected to run on Hydrogen fueling?
Green hydrogen is the only true net-zero energy that has proven to be the best solution to tackle the carbon crisis. It is known to create a clean and green future that would be fit for the purpose. Unlike other fuels, this would not remove oxygen from the atmosphere or add more water vapor to it.

On the other hand, there are many vehicles that have adapted to this change effortlessly. From buses, trams, trains, military vehicles, motorcycles, to auto-rickshaws, tractors, airplanes, and ships - these vehicles would be running on hydrogen fueling.

Furthermore, manufacturers of automobiles are appreciating this change and creating bikes and scooters to reduce pollution and help consumers save money.

What is Blue, Green, Grey, Black Hydrogen?
There are many types of Hydrogen and each of them comes down to the way it is produced. Check out the table below showing different types of hydrogen.

Type of Hydrogen  Characteristics
Blue Hydrogen When carbon from steam reforming is captured and stored underground through industrial carbon capture and storage. It is also considered carbon neutral as the emissions are not dispersed in the air.
Green Hydrogen It is referred to as clean hydrogen and is made by splitting water into two hydrogen atoms and one Oxygen atom using clean energy from excess renewable energy sources, such as solar or wind power, in a process called electrolysis.
Grey Hydrogen The most prevalent type of hydrogen is grey Hydrogen, which is made from natural gas, or methane, through a process known as "steam reforming."
Black Hydrogen is produced from coal. As the CO2 and carbon monoxide produced during the process are not caught, Black Hydrogen is the most harmful to the environment.
Special Chemical to make Oxygen Plant imported to help fight Covid in India

As the global pandemic hit, people from all across the world have seen a lot of suffering because of the unavailability of oxygen cylinders. Indeed that led to the loss of many lives.

But Airox Nigen has found a way to build special chemicals to make oxygen plants and is already giving it to people to fight Covid in India. Time is the biggest challenge, the company is doing its best to deliver the oxygen cylinders in time so that no other life comes into crisis.

What is Biogas? and how can waste be converted to energy?
When organic environmental wastes like food scraps or animal manure get decomposed, they transform into renewable sources of energy, and biogas is one such renewable fuel.

Uses of Biogas

Automobile Fuel
Heating
Power generation
Biogas is made when microbes break down organic stuff like food or animal waste in the absence of oxygen.

The process is known as anaerobic digestion. To accomplish this, the waste material must be contained in an environment devoid of oxygen. Once biogas is compressed, it can be used as vehicle fuel. As a replacement, it can be used for cooking and heating too.

However, it must be cleaned and updated to natural gas standards. An internal combustion engine converts biogas into mechanical energy. Mechanical energy is used to spin an electric generator, which further generates electricity.

With all the safety procedures for employees and factory workers and ensuring adequate standards of the industry, Airox Nigen is paving its path towards success efficiently.
