Are you looking for a way to clean your car that doesn't involve the hustle and bustle of a commercial car wash? Well, look no further! This simple guide will help you undertake your own DIY car wash in Sydney.

It's hot out there, and you've got a driveway full of cars that need washing. Here's how to get the job done with minimal hassle.

Get the Right Supplies

You're going to need some specialised car washing products that are designed to clean your car without damaging the finish or leaving spots behind. There are plenty of options on the market, and you can find them at most big-box retailers and auto supply stores. If possible, avoid using ordinary dish soap or laundry detergent for your car washing-most contain chemicals that will mess up the finish of your vehicle.

If you are looking for something special, many specialty stores also sell formulations that condition the exterior of your car while it is being cleaned. These ...
... formulas help prevent swirl marks and water spots from forming in the first place, so you will have an easier time keeping your car in tip-top shape. Plus, they look great!

Pick a Spot

Before you start car washing in Sydney, decide where to do it. Unfortunately, there is no way around it: running a hose over your car is going to leave behind some mud and dirt on the ground around it. You will want to pick a spot where that doesn't matter-either in a place where nobody ever walks.

Preparation

First, make sure that your vehicle is in good shape. Wash it thoroughly, inside and out, to remove any dirt and grime from the surface of the vehicle. Next, try scrubbing the dirt off using a couple of old rags or sponges. You can also use some soapy water. Make sure that all the stains are gone before moving on to the next step.

Cleaning solution

For the cleaning solution, you will need one gallon of warm water and the required quantity of car shampoo. Mix both ingredients in a bucket and make sure they are well combined. Now pour this solution over your vehicle's exterior surface and start rubbing it in with a sponge or rag. Make sure not to miss any spots on your vehicle's body, like the bumpers or wheel wells. If the solution starts drying up, just add more water to it!
