CHARGING THE BATTERY CORRECTLY

Good starting point is to know that you should only charge your forklift battery once its levels drop to below 25% capacity. When charging the battery, take care not to leave it to overcharge, which can result in overheating, which will damage the battery. As soon as the battery is charged to capacity, be sure to unplug it.

DON’T USE AN UNDER-CHARGED BATTERY

When your battery is below 25%, be sure to avoid using it if you can since this will cause a drop in the voltage it uses, which contributes greatly to gradual damage being sustained by the battery.
