2. Green tea: Green tea has tannins, which have astringent property that can help to shrink the pores in palms, and dry the sweat fast. Make regular green tea in a large container and soak your hand in the tea after it gets cold. You can also simply hold the damp, brewed tea in your palms to get the benefit.
3. Alcohol: The dehydrating property of alcohol makes it an excellent cure for sweaty palms. Rub alcohol or alcohol-based products in your palm frequently to get rid of wet palms.
4. Talcum powder: Talcum powder is another simple home remedy for sweaty palms. Powder forms a layer on your palm surface and absorbs the sweat.
5. Baking soda: Baking soda has drying property that helps to keep the palms dry. Mix baking soda with warm water, look for effervescence. Soak your hand in the mixture for half an hour, and rub your palms with some soda. Pat dry after doing the treatment.
6. Cornstarch: Like talcum powder, cornstarch is a simple dusting remedy. It absorbs the sweat from your palms and helps to keep them dry. Apply cornstarch dust and keep for half an hour. Then wash off. Apply several times a day.
7. Rosewater: Purchase organic rose water from any nearby store, or make by your own by boiling some rose petals in water for 15 minutes. Store the water in an airtight container after straining. Apply on your palms with a cotton ball.
8. Tomato juice: Astringent property of tomato juice helps to keep your palms dry. Apply tomato juice in your palms, and also drink the juice to keep your body cool. Cool body sweats less, and so are your palms.
9. Lemon Juice: Lemon juice is another effective home remedy for wet palms. Apply it on your palms with a cotton ball. You can mix lemon juice with water, if you have a sensitive skin. Lemon juice can be mixed with vodka, and rubbed on your palms. Wash off after 20 minutes. You can also use lemon juice with salt to get dry palms.
10. Apple Cider Vinegar: Due to its astringent property, apple cider vinegar is an excellent solution for wet palms. Apply apple cider vinegar on your palms, and also you can consume it with a few drops of honey, on empty stomach. The astringent property of apple cider vinegar helps to keep the pores tight, thus reduce sweating.
11. Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is a rich source of lauric acid, which can kill bacteria that causes body odour while you sweat. It is also a good antiperspirant. Rub a small amount of oil on your palms. It can help you to stop the sweating and feel fresh.
12. Fuller’s Earth: Fuller’s earth has soothing and cooling effects. Apply it on your palms, keep for 15 minutes, and then wash off. The layer of natural minerals deposited on the sweat glands of your palms, helps to reduce sweating.
13. Potato: Rub potato slices on your palms, keep for some time before washing off. Potato slice can help your palms to sweat less.
Lifestyle remedies for sweaty palms
1. Consume nutritional diet: Include certain foods that specifically helps to reduce sweating. Include plenty of zinc (good sources are turkey, nuts, oysters, roasted pumpkin, beef etc.) and magnesium (good sources are bran, sunflower seeds, roasted soybeans, bananas, and cocoa powder).
