1. Nathi Gali
Our list of the best places to visit in Galiyat starts with none other but Nathia Gali. This little piece of heaven on earth is located around 7,900 feet above sea level. This tourist spot is noted for its mesmerizing environment that appears like something out of a storybook and is regarded as one of the top locations to visit in Galiyat. Tall pine, oak, and walnut trees, colorful flowers, attractive hiking trails, old buildings, and quaint marketplaces set against the backdrop of a stunning valley add to the enchantment of this hill station.
2. Ayubia
If you're seeking for locations to visit around Murree, the Ayubia National Park is a must-see. This national park, which spans 3,312 hectares and is at an elevation of around 8,000 feet, is situated between Murree and Nathiagali. It was designated as a national park in 1984, after previously being classified as a hilltop resort complex. The Ayubia National Park is now managed by the Wildlife and Parks Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Mushkpuri Top, also known as Mukeshpuri Top, is the Galiyat region's second highest mountain summit. It is at around 9,200 feet above sea level and is about 90 kilometers north of the capital city. The trail to the summit of this mountain is arguably the most popular trekking path among both local and international visitors. Because Mushkpuri Top is located right above Nathia Gali and can be reached straight from Ayubia National Park, you can expect to encounter a large number of visitors and adventure seekers at all times of the year. The most well-known Mushkpuri Top trek begins near the Pines Hotel in Nathia Gali. The hike to the goal takes around three hours from there, through a gorgeous pine forest.
4. Miranjani Trek
The tallest hill in the Galiyat area is Miranjani, often spelled Meranjani. The highest point of the mountain is 9,816 feet above sea level. One of the most popular activities among visitors to the region is trekking to Miranjani Top. If you are a seasoned hiker, it will take you around one and a half hours to reach the summit. The trek, however, might take up to three hours or more for beginners. The route to Miranjani Top begins near Nathia Gali's old Governor House. However, the road soon split in two, with one route leading to the mountaintop through a semi-circle that ascends towards the picturesque village of Namli Maira, and the other leading to the hilltop via a semi-circle that ascends towards the charming village of Namli Maira.
5. Thandiani
Thandiani, a lovely hill station in Galiyat, is one of the most interesting sites to visit. It's also a great place to visit for a weekend vacation from Islamabad. Dugri Trip is the name of the trek to Thandiani. Despite the fact that it is the Galiyat region's longest mountain route, it is immensely popular among adventure seekers due to its surreal beauty, which is surrounded by dense pine trees and a bright sky. The walk to Thandiani begins from Miranjani Top and continues via Dugri, Beran Gali, and Thandiani before spiralling down to the somewhat remote tourist site of Thandiani. It takes around two days to complete the journey.
