Economy Class Pre-select In-flight Meal Service Now Available On Thai Flights From Bangkok

1888 Press Release - The national flag carrier airline of Thailand, Thai Airways International, has recently introduced Pre-Select Meal service for Economy Class passengers. Commencing on January 1st, 2022, the in-flight meal pre-select service is now available to Royal Orchid Plus Gold and Platinum members.

Since the introduction, meal selection on all international flights from Bangkok now feature two meal types – Asian and Western. Pre-Select meal options on flights from Bangkok between January and March 2022 can be viewed online, and feature local delicacies including Chicken Green Curry with Thai Jasmine rice, international gourmet favorites including Prawn Pommery, and multiple vegetarian options as well.

For Royal Orchid Plus Gold and Platinum members, pre-selecting in-flight meals is made convenient online. For non-members, joining online for THAI’s customer loyalty program is free, and can be joined easily. For those with confirmed bookings in Economy Class, eligible members can view and select their preferred meal no less than 72 hours prior to their scheduled flight from Bangkok to their international destination.
