What is UK SPEC?

The full form of the UK SPEC is the UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence and Commitment. It lets us know the requirements that a candidate has to fulfill to get themself registered as an Engineering Technician (EngTech), Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng). • Handle teams and develop staff to fulfill changing technical and managerial requirements.

D. Show influential interpersonal skills.

• Have communication in English with others at every level.

• Discuss and present proposals.

• Show personal and social skills.

E. Show a personal commitment to professional criteria, identifying obligations to society, the profession and the environment.

• Perform continuing professional development required to maintain and improve competency in own practice area.
