Production Process Of Boron Nitride

The synthesis reaction that is the result of boric acid or boron trioxide gives rise to boron nitride. This is what is referred to as the boron precursor containing either urea or ammonia (a nitrogen reagent). This reaction helps the boron oxide to achieve an amorphous shape and thus also have enough amount of impurities of boron trioxide. After this process, it is quite possible to get rid of these impurities by a simple process of evaporation and for that, it should be heated over a temperature of 1500°C.

All these aspects make boron nitride an interesting compound because of its numerous forms and polymorphs that really exist in the real world.
