Most of us pay attention to the car’s exterior repair. We don’t care about the car roof lining at all. It is only when the car roof has started to sag or it is coming off do we take stock of the same. But this should not be the case. The best way to deal with it is to get the car inspected thoroughly - from both inside and outside. After all, you are sitting inside the car, you will notice it very clearly if the car roof lining is coming off. So the moment you notice anything amiss, you should take your car to the nearest car repair center and get it fixed. Most of the car repair centres offer car roof-lining repair. However, if you are in a hurry and don’t have enough time to take your car to the mechanic you can try the following DIY tricks to fix the car roof lining.

Use a specialist-headlining adhesive to fix the sagging car roof. This is effective if the sides of the roof are coming off. Using the specialist adhesive is important because it has the required sticking capacity.

Why ...
... don’t you use pins to push back the roof lining on the foam? It is a good temporary solution but if you expect it to last long then you should avoid this one.

Got staples and hair spray at home? Use them to fix the sagging car roof lining. Spray the hair spray and then staple it so that it stays in place.

You can also use double-sided tape. They are quite effective as well and offer a good solution. You can try it for a quick and effective solution. Almost all of us have double sided tape at home, hence you can easily use it as and when required.

However, these are all temporary - car roof lining repair quick fix solution. Just because you have solved the problem as of now does not mean that you should avoid taking your car to the nearest car repair center and solving the problem on a permanent nature. Call your car mechanic and update him about the current condition of your car and book the appointment accordingly. Quick fixes are good when you don’t have any solution right at that moment but otherwise you should always look for a permanent car roof lining repair and long lasting solution.
