Nowadays, our technology has become very advanced, that’s why our modern cars have many features and electronics than ever before. The performance and management of the car engine also improve which makes your riding experience more premium. Along with all these features, manufacturers of cars give many warning lights on the speedometer so that the owner of the car can easily identify the problem in the car. Sometimes these warning lights and signals may be confusing for the beginner. That's why in this article, we are going to talk about a brief description of some common car emergency lights.

1. Door Open Warning Light:
Friends, the color of this warning light is red and it indicates, one or more than one door of the car is not closed, and if your car is advanced then it will indicate you the exact door which is open.

2. Oil Pressure Warning Light:
This warning light indicates the reduction of oil pressure in the engine of your car. That's why in this situation do not drive your car for long-distances before fixing the problem. ...

3. Service Reminder Light:
Nowadays, every car has this warning light. This is one of the most important warning lights which tells you about the delay in the scheduled maintenance of your car, but after the proper service of your car, this light will automatically shut off. The color of this warning light is orange.

4. Automatic Shift Lock:
If you ride an automatic car then you have to press the brake while shifting your car from gear to neutral, and in some advanced cars, this thing is indicated by the green light on your speedometer.

5. Hand Brake Icon:
Friends, when you pull the handbrake while driving the car, this red color warning light appears on your console or speedometer. But sometimes it remains on after releasing the hand brake, this clearly indicates that your braking system has some problem with it.

6. Engine Warning Light:
As we all know, the engine plays an important role in the better functioning of the car but if there is any problem with the management of the engine then this yellow color warning light appears on your speedometer. To fix this problem use the diagnostic tool.

7. Airbag Icon:
If there is a problem with the airbag of your car then this red light will glow on your console and you can not fix this at home. To fix this you should go to the authorized service center of the car.

8. Seat Belt Warning:
If someone is not wearing a seat belt properly then this red color warning light glows on your speedometer. You can easily shut off this light by wearing the seat belt in a proper manner.

9. Battery Alert:
If the voltage level is below the average level in your car then this icon appears on your console. You can fix it by charging or changing the battery of your car.

10. TPMS Icon:
Nowadays, cars come with TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) icons. This yellow warning light appears on your speedometer when there is low pressure in the tire of your car. This icon may also appear when there is any malfunction in the TPMS system of your car.
