To become a Chartered Professional Engineer in New Zealand (CPEng NZ), you have some experience and get yourself registered using Engineering New Zealand, which is the registration authority.

1. Evaluate your application taking international competency standards into account

3. Potentially ask you for further information
4. Receive feedback from the referees
5. Write a report to recommend the Chartered Professional Engineers Council also known as CPEC.
