Towards a Better Education System

Until late, South America was not very well placed on the global education map. This is, however, a thing of the past. The continent is now marching towards a new dawn with ambitious academic goals and keeping pace with other countries.

It took humongous efforts on part of educators, proponents of education and governments to come out of the problems plaguing South America that in turn affected the education and consequently the economy. But South America has left it far behind and is rocketing towards a robust education system that in turn will contribute to the economy and a better society.

The continent that roughly encompasses 12 sovereign countries is on the way to an educational transformation combatting all the challenges.
Improving the quality of education and bridging the digital divide have been pivotal steps taken by the continent of late. The pandemic that demanded online learning threw more challenges to the education system. But the education institutes successfully conducted the classes with online teaching or broadcasting through radio and television.

... there is a will there is a way indeed. There are many positive examples wherein attempts have been made to bring all the students on one platform. Many public schools provide the required facilities for information technology to all the students. Public-private partnerships have also aided in providing technology to students ensuring equal opportunities for all. Private schools and international schools are better placed with regards to technology, and these are the schools that stand in the global education space.

Even as the challenges continue in some parts of the continent, the brighter side is that everyone rose to the need of the hour during the pandemic to impart quality education with the inclusion of latest technology. There is a growing awareness to keep on enhancing the education system in the continent to be in the global competitive market.
