While online learning is flexible, some see flexibility as a license to procrastinate. And when students procrastinate, they don’t keep up with reading, studying, or posting on discussion boards. This is why you should create a studying plan and stick to it. On your studying plan, note the following things:

• When you’re most productive. Is it in the early morning or in the late evening?

• Can you work for long stretches or do you need to break often?

• How many hours can you spend studying each day?

• Are you a quick reader?

• Do you have to consider anyone else's schedule before you work?

Successful online students always follow routines, as these help students stay committed and focused. For instance, if you commit to reading between 10 AM and 11AM every day, you are more likely to follow through with the plan. Before you start to work, make a list of things that need to be accomplished that day.

Share the schedule with friends and roommates. If you do so, it’s likely they won’t distract you.

3. Create A Dedicated Studying Space:

It may be tempting to study from your bed, but it’s better to work in a dedicated studying space, one that’s quiet and organized. After some time in the studying space, your mind will begin to focus on the task at hand. If you have class materials and tools close by, you won’t have to leave the studying space to get these. An organized student is one who manages time well.

4. Avoid Procrastination:

Don't wait until the last minute to complete projects, as doing so can make you anxious and stressed, and you will end up submitting subpar work. If you're handling a huge project, break it down into small chunks; this way staying on track is easy.

And if you're tempted to give up before the course is over, set up a reward system. Each time you complete something, reward yourself.

5. Delegate:

A lot of unsuccessful students regret not hiring class help. If, for example, you have a presentation at work—and you don't have time to complete your homework—it’s here when you should hire a class taker online. They’ll complete your assignments and exams.
