So you have applied for a job and you have overcome the first hurdle. Then you are told that now you have to pass a numerical test and a verbal reasoning test. I think you are thinking how you can prepare for this test. Isn’t your resume sufficient proof that you are a good person to hire?

The most common type of tests is a numerical test. These test the numerical reasoning skills and the verbal reasoning skills of the applicant. Instances of these test types are number series, percentage, probability, etc. Instances of verbal reasoning tests are sentence correction, antonyms, spelling, statement, assumption, and so on.

Moreover, there are also diagrammatic tests and logical reasoning tests as they are known. These tests are actually trying ...
... to test your abilities in logical reasoning and diagrammatic questions and thereby give the employer a look at your skills in these specific areas. Instances of these tests are data interpretation, pattern completion, letter and symbol series, analogies, logical issues, verbal classification, and so on.
