Rings go in and out of fashion all the time. Styles change, your life and choices may change too. So when it comes to upgrading your wedding ring it is entirely up to you and your partner to do so. Your ring may have been perfect when you got married but now your tastes may have change.
Now that you have a chance to upgrade your wedding ring, why not make it the one you’ve dream of? Here are 5 different ways to upgrade your engagement or wedding ring.

1. Play with colors

Diamonds are usually the most common gemstones on an engagement or wedding rings , but that does not mean you can’t add another stone.

Rubies, emeralds and sapphires have bright and vivid hues which are not only eye catching but also different than most. And in the end it’s your ring, so do as your heart desires.

2. Add some sparkle to your band

You may have a ring featuring a metal band and gemstones. Though these rings are simple they are extremely beautiful. But that shouldn’t stop you from adding a little sparkle.

Kick it off by adding one or ...
... more diamonds or other gemstones on the band itself.

3. Make it to a 3 stone ring

Your wedding ring may feature only 1 stone. Add 2 more to upgrade it! You can add 2 smaller stones on either side of the main stone. This will not only make it look fuller but also enhance the center stone without taking away it’s shine.

4. Change your band

You can always change up your band to give your ring a fresh look. Try out white, yellow gold, rose gold and even pink. It will preserve the original state of the ring but change it up enough to make you feel comfortable.

Customize it the way you like it and roll with it!

5. Jazz up traditional bands

Many rings are passed down through generations making their style old. You need a new look but don’t want to mess with heirlooms and they may even carry sentimental value.

One way to give a traditional ring new life is to change the setting. By keeping the original stone, you’re still carrying on the family tradition, but you’re also giving the stone a second life in a modern ring. Changing the setting is an excellent way to keep family traditions alive.
