Rules Of Wearing Rudraksha

What exactly is Rudraksha?
The Rudraksha tree, produces Rudraksha seed, also known as Elaeocarpus ganitrus (Scientific name). Rudra (another name for Lord Shiva) + Aksha (tear drop) are two Sanskrit words that make up this name. Rudraksha primarily refers to “Lord Shiva’s Tears.” The tears, it is told, are the consequence of Shiva’s compassion as he thought on humanity’s eternal suffering. In essence, Rudraksha provides mankind with relief from pain and a connection to the holy Aksha, which also means Shiva’s eye in Sanskrit.
Rudraksha is the most sacred bead in Hinduism, and it is worn by famous Yogis, monks, saints, sages, and religious people from India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, China, and across Asia.
DO’s
Wear with the way prescribed. Although Rudraksha never has side effect, it is always better to wear in a proper prescribed manner. Make sure to recite the Beej Mantra of the bead at least 5 times before wearing the bead for the first time. (For knowing the beej mantra of different Rudraksha, visit www.rudrakshahub.com )
It is suggested that Rudraksha be cleaned every six months.
