If you require any changes in your policy, you may implement those during your insurance company's annual open enrollment period. So this way to use the medigap health insurance plans as much as you require not paying excess. But on the other hand if you are suffering from ill health and always in a volatile condition require medical care and treatment then you will not surely do this. In that case you will get higher levels coverage on a medigap health insurance plan.
