After establishing a company they think about marketing strategies. And the strategies can be traditional or digital marketing. For every business both strategies are important but it’s depending upon the business that which will be good for the business. Below we will understand traditional marketing and digital marketing and which strategies are best for which type of business. From how long you did not read any magazines any books or any templates like earlier also today you are not listening to the radio and not watching TV frequently. Do you think companies are not focusing on traditional marketing to advertise their products and services? In this era, people are always online because of this every company is trying for digital marketing. But in traditional marketing companies can meet with their customer at a very specific time like during any physical meet, by telephone, on the roadshow, etc. Today digital marketing became the easiest and fastest way to reach their customers in a very short period. The reason behind the booming of digital marketing is only because there is a drastically increasing penetration of the internet in the world. In the market, many people are following the traditional market to grow their business so we cannot say that after 100 years what will happen but it sure that currently, digital marketing will not replace the traditional market. For better understanding, we should know about digital marketing and traditional marketing. Choosing digital marketing or traditional business depends on the nature of the business. For example, there is a web development company based in India but their customers are from UK and US. In this situation, they should only go for digital marketing.
DIGITAL MARKETING
Digital marketing is also called online marketing. Online marketing mainly focuses on the presence of the company than the internet. Digital marketing is the medium of different routes to meet users in different places on the internet. Today maximum people are purchasing goods and services with the help of the internet and expanding most of the time on the internet so companies are also trying to get leads from the internet.
In digital marketing, we can exactly know that how many people are seeing your advertisement and how many are interested in your product and services. Today maximum business are going to online market like online shopping, online cab booking, and online food delivery, and in these business digital marketing play a vital role.
In digital marketing, advertisements are not permanent because there are very frequently ads changed by the business. Sometimes people just scroll down and do not see the post.

Digital marketing is measurable and more effective in the collection of data. In Traditional Marketing, it is very difficult to say where the leads are coming from. Also, we cannot say that TV ads or radio ads, or any other advertisement is working for your business. In marketing, numbers are very important to know your business. In email marketing also we can know the number of people who open the email and the number of people taken interested in this. There are many tools and tricks in online marketing from where we can know the engagement levels of the customers.

Previously during in traditional marketing somehow there was some problem separating the actual target audience for the given geography. It is like previous we were using paper map but today we are using Google map to go anywhere. There are many social media platforms and other mediums through which we can easily know what the actual audience thinks about our products and services. In social media we do like comments and share so easily we can know the customer feedback about our products.

Traditional marketing is the process of doing marketing through the offline channel and making some profit out of it. It also involves 4 p’s of marketing like product, price, place, and promotion without using of digital platform. Mainly Traditional marketing we do for the actual target audience for the specific geographic people.
Traditional marketing is successful for local businesses because people are trusted more traditional marketing in comparison to digital marketing.
In traditional marketing, businesses are not able to know that how many people are seeing your advertisement because in traditional marketing you do like print media like magazines, newspapers, and outdoor marketing. Because of this in traditional marketing businesses think whatever they are doing is right or wrong. Traditional marketing is also in many places and if we want to expand our money in prime locations then there can be a need for some big amount. Because in the pick time newspaper and TV channels companies take huge amount by customers to advertise for some time.

Placing the billboards in the right place can influence the customer for companies service and product.
NETWORKING
Networking we can say by word of mouth. How many people are referring your products and services to their colleagues and friends and family? But this cannot that much easy it happens only if the product and services are best for the customers
OUTDOOR MARKETING
Outdoor advertisement mainly includes billboards, posters, and fliers. Outdoor marketing is the oldest form of traditional marketing and it is still in tradition for doing marketing of products and services.
DIRECT MAIL MARKETING
This is similar to cold calling as we do a direct call to our leads here we direct send mail to our target audience.
TELEPHONE MARKETING
Telephone marketing is telemarketing through phone calls or text messages by the company for their products and services. Some companies are using this mainly to generate leads from telephone marketing. It is not very popular in every business but sometimes business use this to tell some information like offers and discounts in the festival to the existing customers. Tele-calling is less trustable in comparison to other media

No doubt that in this era digital marketing is very important for maximum business and drastically people are using digital marketing to promote their products and services. But there are some markets still for traditional marketing also because for every business digital marketing is not useful because of the location and type of the business and also there is some other reason which affects businesses to go only online. Traditional marketing is also important in some time to promote business because online marketing is booming drastically in a specific place. Every Business's goals are different so they use traditional marketing as per their requirements. Digital marketing cannot replace the traditional market but a maximum part of the market has already been taken by the digital market. In digital marketing, businesses can know that what the return on investment is is coming through a digital marketing campaign but in traditional marketing, businesses cannot get a 100% idea that this advertisement is used fully for the company. Because in traditional marketing attention of customers can come from any medium but we will not get to know which is the best for your business. Digital marketing can build trust fastly than the traditional market but if we look for the other side people change their brand very frequently because of online marketing.
If we talk about traditional marketing today in the age of digital marketing also has a market. Businesses cannot neglect completely traditional marketing like TV, radio, newspaper to promote their business. For every business promotional mix is important for business. If we talk about niche marketing or in some specific location where online marketing does not work. If we talk about India there are many rural places where electricity is not there also in some places internet penetration is very low so in these places, it is not good for businesses to use digital marketing. Unfortunately, both digital marketing and traditional marketing have their merit and demerit, but businesses need to understand their requirement and target audience with considering their budget. If we talk about the big companies like Coca-Cola, PepsiCo and PNG they also do both traditional and digital marketing for their products and services.
